【ABOUT DESIGN】

The earrings are inspired by the works of Italian artist Giorgio de Chirico, especially Mystery and melancholy of a street.

I came by Mystery and Melancholy of a Street several years ago, when I was studying art in Italy. The painting represents an encounter between two figures: a small girl running with a hoop and a statue that is present in the painting only through its shadow. The image struck me as though I had come across my own past by accident.
